INTRODUCTION TO EMERGENCY RESPONSE & RESCUE

A common misunderstanding is that 911 services or the fire department can sufficiently respond to a rescue at height situation.  This is simply not true.  90% of all government emergency services are not trained in rescues at height.

Skyline Emergency Response Services includes the development of plans, delivery of training, and plan management.  Our emergency response services allows your company to put an emergency response plan in place to ensure the safety and health of workers during critical emergency situations.  Let us put our expertise to work on your behalf.  We develop plans for natural disasters, fire, medical, rescue, oil spills, hazmat and more.

Rescue At Height

Having a fall arrest system is half the equation.  What if you had an injured worker in a high angle predicament?  Would your staff be able to conduct a safe and timely rescue of an injured or incapacitated worker?

High Angle Rope Rescue

We provide custom rescue and fall arrest plans to meet project requirements, including unique hazards and legal requirements of working at heights.  All our onsite personnel carry out high angle rescue operations, rescue planning and consultations.  Skyline employees are highly experienced and certified.

Rescue

Prompt and effective rescue from work at height is a legislated component of a fall protection program.  Emergency escape may also be required while working in elevated areas.  Provide your workers with a feeling of confidence knowing that, when they work at height, trained rescue personnel are on-site ready to respond quickly.

If in-house staff were used for rescue, skills competency must be maintained through regular practice and refresher training.  The required equipment can also be expensive.  As such, it is often more cost effective for clients to use our service rather than train and equip their own employees.

Our Rescue Teams are proactive in creating a safe work environment and called upon to support the project safety team with value added services such as consulting, inspections, access planning, and equipment preparation.
