As a young lad with $5.00 in hand and sitting on a park bench, a critical decision was made. Buy lunch and eat for a day, or buy a squeegee in eat for life. I think the right choice was made. Although that first squeegee is no longer around, after 37 years, we still are.
Skyline unofficially started in September 1984. On July 10th, 1986, Skyline was officially registered as a corporation. Skyline has changed and amalgamated over the years but its basic principles have remained the same.
When it comes to safety and performance, Skyline is the biggest. Skyline's perfect safety record is your assurance that you've come to the right place.
Skyline was first featured on the 11 o'clock news, with Peter Grossman. We were descending from the glass ceiling of the Eaton's Centre, taking apart Santa's castle. We have also been featured in full colour, front page of National newspapers, such as the Toronto Sun, Toronto Star, Niagara Falls Review, Sarnia Times, Peterborough Times, among many others. We were also invited to speak on News Talk 1010 with Jim Richards.
I would say that time is our greatest limitation. We are a highly sought after company and our services are in high demand. We often have clients booked months and even years in advance. Most of our clients are loyal and long term. It may be difficult to get us to your building, but if you book very early, we will have a better chance to serve you well for many years. Most of our clients enjoy FREE services. Give us a call, and see how we can best serve you.
This is one of the most common questions. I guess the correct answer would be yes and no. We work on some of the highest and most complex buildings in the country. But each job and each worker will dictate the level of fear. The number one thing that helps us manage the fear is our training and safety equipment. With the best training and the best equipment, we can do anything.
Training and patience. Window cleaning is both an art and a science. We might make it look easy. Give it a try. You'll be surprised at how hard it is. Especially while suspended from a building.
There's no easy answer to this. Many factors need to be considered.
NO. Skyline has maintained a Perfect Safety Record since it was established on July 10th 1984. To our knowledge, no other Suspended Access and Rigging company can boast this claim. Skyline has maintained a perfect safety record for over 37 years.
It is not always possible to satisfy everyone. However, it is our job to make sure that clients are happy with what we do. If a customer has an issue with the quality of our work, we confer with them to determine if something went wrong and then take all measures to ensure it is corrected.
Fortunately, we don't get very many quality concerns.
Yes. Skyline is available to perform work 24/7. The office hours may be different. Nevertheless, you can still reach us toll free, 24/7 in the event of an emergency.
When Skyline estimates the cost of a job, we never try to be the lowest bidder. Like other companies, Skyline needs to make a profit. The problem when trying to bid low is that corners get cut and sacrifices get made. This will increase the likelihood of poor quality work and maybe even an accident. We can't afford to have an accident and neither can you. When bidding a job, Skyline aims to be the most accurate. This reduces liability to the managers and owners while maintaining a level of quality that the client can expect.
Client "How do you like the job?".
